Money Matters: Take charge!

Are you between 15 and 19 years of age? Then this project is for you!

Money Matters: Take Charge! aims to study financial literacy of the youth aged 15 to 19 and to shed light on their relationship with money. Personally, The project aims to provide you with a better understanding of the fundamental principles of personal finance and help you think about and plan for your financial future.

What makes the project different? As a participant, you will receive personalized feedback based on your answers that will show the “financial path” you have taken thus far and point you in the best direction to achieve your financial goals.

We are glad you join in!

No preparation is required on the part of either students or teachers. Participating schools are free to determine the best way to collaborate and offer students the opportunity to take part in the project. In a financial education or math course? The choice is yours!

Student participation is voluntary. Using a computer, tablet, or cell phone, they will need one hour to complete all and all (read instructions, give consent, answer the questions, view the video clips and read feedback).

Money Matters: Take Charge! has been approved for 2024 by Université Laval’s Ethics Committee, CÉRUL (Comité d’éthique à la recherche de l’Université Laval), under approval number 2021-380 A-6 / 13-08-2024. The project database management framework is identified in 2024 by number 2021-481 CG R-2/ 09-01-2024.

All surveys conducted under this study will be submitted to CÉRUL for prior approval.
