Dr. Tran Toan Thang

Dr. Tran Toan Thang is the Director of Department of Sectoral Forecast and Enterprise Development, National Center for Socio-economic Information and Forecast, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Government of Vietnam.
From 2014 to 2017, he was Deputy Director at the Department of Business Environment and Competitiveness of Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM), Vietnam.
He obtained an MSc in Development economics from Agricultural University of Norway, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex, UK. His research interests are in foreign direct investment, FTA and globalization, and business environment.
Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong

Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong is Commercial Counselor, Head of Trade Office at the Embassy of S.R Vietnam in Canada.
She has been working for the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam for more than 20 years, basically in the area of trade policy, trade negotiation and trade promotion.
Mr. Daniel Dignard
Senior Advisor
Investissement Québec International (IQI), Quebec, Canada
Mr. Daniel Dignard has many years of experience in supporting Canadian businesses in their international development. He has also worked abroad for more than a decade as an official representative in the Quebec offices in Texas (2015-2019), Tokyo/Japan (2006-2009), Munich/Germany (2000-2002).
He is presently the Expert Advisor at Investment Quebec for the India and South-East markets, where he is assisting Canadian companies.
Mr. Dignard graduated in International relations at Montreal UQAM, McGill University and Sciences Po Paris. He speaks several languages including English, French, Japanese and Russian.
Dr. Muhammad Mohiuddin
Associate Professor of International Business

Dr. Muhammad Mohiuddin is an Associate Professor of International Business at Université Laval, Canada. He taught at Thompson Rivers University, Canada; University of Paris-Est, France; Osnabruck University of Applied Science, Germany; Shanghai Institute of Technology, and Tianjin University of Technology, China.
His researches focus on Offshore outsourcing and Global value chain, Emerging country markets, and Industry 4.0 and International Business.
Dr. Mohiuddin is an Associate Editor of Transnational Corporations Review [Scopus, ESCI, ABS and ABDC]. He is currently serving as Director of Research Group on contemporary Asia (GERAC) at Université Laval.
Mr. Marc Djandji
Director, ASEAN Strategy Group Limited, Canada
Originally from Montreal, Mr. Marc Djandji spent nearly 17 years working on Vietnam’s capital markets. He was the very first Head of Research in the country and throughout his career he assisted institutional investors to access this exciting market and to identify compelling investment opportunities there.
Marc is the Founder and Managing Director of ASEAN Strategy Group, a boutique advisory firm, focused on cross-border trade and investments between Canada and Vietnam.
For several years, he sat on the board of directors of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of Vietnam. In his spare time, he mentored young Vietnamese entrepreneurs for VIISA, a start-up accelerator in HCMC.
