Dr Rakesh Mohan Joshi
A distinguished academician, eminent author and renowned management expert, Dr. Rakesh Mohan Joshi is presently the Director of the Indian Institute of Plantation Management in Bangalore, and Professor at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), in New Delhi, with expertise in International Marketing, International Business and Trade Strategy. He has extensive trans-national exposure and has been associated with several multilateral organizations, such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, UNCTAD, International Dairy Federation, Asian Productivity Organisation (APO), etc.
He has conducted research, training programs, teaching, and consultancy in more than 30 countries. He has served as Project Leader for many seminal research studies, authored highly popular books from Oxford University Press and was Editor of the quarterly journal of IIFT, Foreign Trade Review (FTR) published since 1966. He is one of the few highly sought-after management professors in India as an expert, author and speaker in conferences, workshops, TV channels and several other national and international forums.
Dr Sumit Ganguly
Dr. Sumit Ganguly is a Distinguished Professor of Political Science and holds the Rabindranath Tagore Chair in Indian Cultures and Civilizations at Indiana University. He is a Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC, Visiting Fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation and the Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law at Stanford University, Guest Scholar at the Center for Cooperative Monitoring in Albuquerque and Visiting Scholar at the German Institute for International and Area Studies in Hamburg. He has also held the Asia Chair at Sciences Po in Paris, and the Ngee Ann Chair in International Politics at Rajaratnam School for International Studies at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
He is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Institute for Defense Studies and Analysis in New Delhi, Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is an Associate Editor of International Security and serves on the editorial boards for many journals. As a renowned specialist on the contemporary politics of South Asia, he is the author, co-author, editor or co-editor of 20 books on the region.
