Mr. Hafizur Rahman, Additional Secretary, Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
He is currently the Director-General of the WTO Cell at the Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh.
He has expertise in regional, bilateral and multilateral trade negotiation, WTO Agreement on Agriculture, Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures and the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) related issues.
He has long experience on international trade-related regulatory issues of least developing countries (LDCs) and Graduation from LDC to Developing countries and its impacts on international trade.
Dr. Khondaker Golam Moazzem is industrial economist by profession.
His major area of interest includes development of industrial enterprises, entrepreneurship development, private investment including FDI, competition policy and trade-related issues at the bilateral, regional and multilateral levels.
Dr. Moazzem holds a Ph.D. from Kyoto University, Japan. He was a visiting fellow at the Centre for South East Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University.
He worked as a member of various committees at both the national and international levels.
Dr. Moazzem has published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals and several book chapters and co-authored books published by CPD.
Dr. Liton Chakraborty is a researcher at the University of Waterloo.
His research analyzes socioeconomic vulnerability, environmental and social inequities, and racial/ethnic disparities in exposure to natural hazards and disasters to identify and consider gender-based analysis plus (GBA+) factors in decisions supporting data-driven, evidence-based, and equitable policy development.
Dr. Saeed Rahman began as an Assistant Professor, School of Business, University of the Fraser Valley, BC, Canada.
He holds a Ph.D. in International Management & Organization (Strategy, Organization Theory, and Sustainability stream) from the University of Victoria (UVic)’s Gustavson School of Business.
He earned also an MBA in Strategy & Entrepreneurship from the University of Windsor, an MSc in International Management & Marketing from the Queen Mary University of London and an MBA in Marketing from the North South University.
His current research interests include ecological knowledge, regenerative sustainability, systems theory, social-ecological systems perspective, organizational unlearning, climate change governance, and reverse innovation.
